Draped in the serene clarity of early dawn, the Cerulean Flora set celebrates the quiet poetry of patience and hand-hewn precision. On a canvas of weightless cerulean fabric, skilled artisans hand-carve, fold, and stitch individual florets and geometric facets in pure ivory, creating a dimensional garden that cascades across the neckline with sculptural softness.
Presented as an unstitched two-piece textile ensemble—comprising a generous tunic length and a complementary draped scarf—this creation invites you to design a silhouette tailored entirely to your personal aesthetic, whether that is a fluid, floor-sweeping silhouette or a structured minimalist cut.
Craftsmanship & Technique
- The Craft: Master-level hand applique and dimensional textile cutwork. Each petal is folded by hand and stitched using invisible micro-tucks for an airy, tactile relief.
- Color Story: Serene Cerulean Blue anchored by luminous Alabaster White motifs.
-
Ensemble Composition:
- 1 x Unstitched Tunic Fabric
- 1 x Coordinating Draped Dupatta / Scarf
- Material: Premium fine-count breathable cotton weave—chosen for its soft hand-feel, graceful drape, and all-season comfort.
The Bespoke Fit
Designed for custom atelier tailoring. The unstitched fabric format accommodates silhouettes up to US 18 / UK 22 / 3XL with customizable sleeve styles, neckline depths, and hemline proportions.
Artisan Signature & Care
Each piece is the singular creation of a master artisan. Delicate nuances in stitch tension and petal alignment are not imperfections, but the irreplaceable fingerprints of authentic slow luxury.
Care Ritual: Dry clean recommended to preserve the relief of the applique petals. Alternatively, gentle hand wash in chilled water with mild botanical detergent. Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight; warm iron on the reverse side over a protective pressing cloth.
The making
The making
Embroidered by hand in Lucknow. A single piece passes through several pairs of hands — one to block the pattern, one for the shadow work, one for the knots, one to open the jali, and one to wash the printed guidelines away.
Because each piece is made individually, small variations in the stitch are expected. They are the record of the hand that made it, not a defect.
Care
Care
Hand wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not wring or bleach. Dry in shade, never in direct sun — it fades natural dye and yellows white thread. Press on the reverse with a warm iron so the embroidery keeps its relief.
